Pomodoro Timer

about

Enhance your productivity and study sessions with the Pomodoro Technique! This technique is a widely used productivity hack to assist in getting things done in a way that provides focus and flow between bursts of activity and short breaks.

How it works (according to Wikipedia):

1. Decide on the task to be done.
2. Set the pomodoro timer (traditionally to 25 minutes).
3. Work on the task.
4. End work when the timer rings and put a checkmark on a piece of paper.
5. If you have fewer than four checkmarks, take a short break (3–5 minutes), then go to step 2.
6. After four pomodoros, take a longer break (15–30 minutes), reset your checkmark count to zero, then go to step 1.

I couldn't find a good Pomodoro video here on YouTube that actually had ticking sounds and good audio quality. Many advocates of the Pomodoro Technique that a physical timer should be used because of the ticking sound; it is a constant, subtle reminder that you're being timed and that you need to stay on task.

This audio includes a 25 minute pomodoro with a 5 minute break.
