Pink Noise Burn In

by Virtual Crickets

/

about

11 Hours of Pink Noise useful to burn in headphones, headsets, earbuds, earphones, speakers, monitors, and more.

Burning in headphones is the act of letting headphones sit and play noise for hours or even days on end in order to improve the sound of the device by making the sound drivers more flexible, thus improving the sound of the speakers.

Does it work?

Wired.com argues that it is a completely pointless act that has no scientific evidence.

Tested.com argues that small physical changes resulting from burn-in cause small but audible differences in audio quality, especially on headphones that are notorious for needing burn-in, such as AKG Q701s.
